We work to make "San Francisco/ unscripted" a relaxed but engaging televised conversation.
Freed, as much as possible, from stifling, stilted, political correctness (both left and right, thought and speech patterns. Our tone avoids offensive barbs, and hopefully boring cliches. We ask honest and open questions, and hopefully, honest and open answers.
We conduct our conversation without "heat". (You may remember that our previous production, the award-winning "SF/Politics" ,championed televised heat, long before "Hardball." took it to the extreme)
We'll rarely interview City Hall characters; they're too predictable --- and too slick.
The Community is the life of the City. That's where we'll draw our guests..We believe that a city -- especially San Francisco --- is sum of its personalities (and sometimes, leaders.) So the program features the leaders (occasionally) and interesting, influential personalities from the community (most often).
We aim to entertain and educate. We believe we must enjoy producing each conversation, as much as you enjoy viewing the program.
